My Future in Moreton Bay
Welcome to The City of Moreton Bay’s virtual career experience program, My future In Moreton Bay.
This program is an initiative of Moreton Bay’s Regional Economic Development Strategy 2020-41 (REDS), which articulates The City of Moreton Bay’s plans to transform and modernise the Moreton Bay economy over the next two decades, by making the region bigger, bolder, and brighter.

Why Virtual Work Experiences
To help achieve the REDS goals above, The City of Moreton Bay has partnered with The Forage, an international leader in virtual work experience, to develop modules for careers in our region’s four priority industries:
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Food and Agri-business
- Tourism, Sport and Major Events
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship
As the third-largest Council in Australia, Moreton Bay is home to more than 29,500 local businesses. This work experience program will boost workforce pathways for our local businesses and help to foster a generation of young residents seeking employment in our region.
The free program includes ten (10) bite-sized modules, each taking approximately 1-2 hours to complete, 100% online. On completion, participants will receive a digital certificate to assist with job prospecting.

Why Join These Programs?
Our Moreton Bay has a wide range of ongoing education and training options to help you succeed. You can get further training at our two TAFE Queensland campuses (Redcliffe and Caboolture). We also have two university (UniSC) campuses at The Mill at Moreton Bay (Petrie) and Caboolture and a wide variety of study and skills and options through our many Regional Training Organisations (RTOs).
