I liked how this program replicated closely what a vacation scheme and trainee role at Ashurst could look like. It felt almost as if I was working from home, where I was advising a client on contractual terms for Ashurst's Projects team. The added task of an elevator pitch was also very interesting and different as it helped me practice conversational skills.

I really enjoyed the programme, I thought it was an immersive and challenging resource, which goes beyond what other firms offer to help guide aspiring lawyers. It helped develop practical skills as well as accurately simulating being a trainee at Ashurst. Overall I think it is a valuable and inclusive programme.

Honestly, where I came from (my country), we never do this kind of thing. So yes it’s my first time doing this kind of work. It was indeed challenging but also inspiring at the same time. If I had to rate myself for this task I just did then i would be honest with myself and say 3/4 or 5 on a scale of 10. But this is the kind of thing we students need to be successful. Thank you Team
