- Within your team of eight, you work closely with your team, a senior associate, and other associates to fulfill client research needs. Your role requires you to navigate the complexities of expert sourcing, and sharing relevant existing content.
- Currently, you are partnering with a client to support a due diligence project. They are looking at a potential investment into a company operating in the tennis shoe sector. The project places you at the forefront of understanding the client’s needs and sourcing the right industry experts to provide valuable insights.
- Your primary task is to complete a partial value chain analysis of the tennis shoe industry, focusing on identifying key suppliers, competitors, and consumers. This involves conducting efficient industry research on the sector and employing strategies to identify potential subject matter experts.
- Following the analysis, you will craft detailed profiles for the experts that you identify as potentially interesting for your client to speak with, showcasing their relevance and potential value to your client's research. This process includes leveraging public sources to identify industry experts, reaching out to engage with the expert, preparing a profile for them to send to the client, and ultimately convincing the client that they would be an interesting person to speak with.
